PARA 1 : I hope this letter of mine finds your and your wonderful family jubilant and in fine fettle. I am dropping you a line to shed some light on my mirthful picnic.
As the saying goes that ‘ All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ This proverb highlights the importance of vacation. So my comrades and me planned a fun filled picnic at the garden which was as green as an emerald. We planned it at the Aeroplane garden as it was a stone’s throw away from our residence. We planned that we would play many intriguing games such as twister, badminton etc. We also planned to bring scrumptious eatables like crispy sandwiches, finger licking pastas and yummy chocolate shake. For our security, we planned to carry a phone with us in case something happens. We also adorned the trees with scintillating fairy lights, glistening lanterns and comfortable mats and resplendent pillows to make the garden look as charismatic as a bride. We were as fortunate as lottery winners because it was warm , sunny day. Unfortunately, out of the blue, it started raining cats and dogs. We sprinted with our stuff which was as heavy as an elephant. We took shelter under a prodigious banyan trees. Then one of my comrade got a bee in her bonnet idea. She started dancing like a peacock in the rain. All my comrades and I started dancing in the rain too. We were as exultant as a child in a candy store. After some time, it stopped raining so we thought of going home. With heavy hearts but with jubilant memories etched in our minds, we returned back home.
PARA 3: Convey my warm regards to your revered grandparents, parents and love to your adorable siblings. I hope you will make an endeavour to write to me soon about your picnic if you had any.
