The gleaming stars were departing from the prodigious sky while the scintillating yellow orb pranced in the humongous sky playing hide and seek with the downy clouds and spreading its warmth like a grin.

It made everyone feel that they were going to fry like eggs. The sonorous chirps of a volery of birds resonated everywhere making everyone feel jubilant.
Tom was geared up in the wee hours of morning to visit the elephantine theme park with his amiable parents . The rewarded him for working as assiduously as an ant , burning the midnight oil and passing with flying colours in his assessments. He was of the opinion, ‘ As you sow so shall you reap.’
He had a long journey but to distract himself, he carried a book. All the way, he had his nose in a book. As he arrived, he yawned and joyfully got off his car. He was feeling ravenous so his mother gave him scrumptious snacks. He took the map of the theme park and his eyes were lit up since he was feeling like a bee enclosed in a box with ten different types of honey as he discerned the wide array of rides in the theme park.
Before he sprinted towards the rollercoaster, his mother was cognizant of the shops and stalls over there where which sold fancy amusement park memoirs. Tom’s mother and he loosened their father’s purse strings and indulged in some retail therapy. As they ambled ahead, Tom saw a commotion where the rollercoaster ride was located. There were cries for help. More people ran in that direction. He decided to find out what happened. He was awe struck when he discerned the rollercoaster moving in full speed. People seated there felt nauseous . One of the rollercoaster wagon had derailed and Tom beheld a lanky frame hanging in the air. He was flabbergasted when it dawned upon him that a lad was hanging for his inestimable life while the ride was still on. Tom’s heart pounded rapidly against his frail chest. There was no one to lend a helping hand at the help desk. Just then, Tom spotted a compact room beside the rollercoaster. He entered and pressed the ‘STOP’ button and the rollercoaster stopped. It dawned upon everyone that someone had been their knight in shining armour. As he walked out of the room, everyone gathered around Tom and cheered for him. His body swelled with pride, just then he spotted a dwarf like man waving his hands hastily like the wipers of a car on a rainy day and he looked infuriated. Tom stood dead in his tracks when he heard the man saying, ‘ You puckish lad ! This isn’t a real life incident. This is merely a blockbuster.’ Everyone there was tickled pink and Tom turned as pink as a beetroot in embarrassment.
He sprinted away from there and was cognizant that he had learnt a crucial lesson that ‘Haste makes Waste.’ He was doleful for his poor presence of mind. This hilarious and rib tickling incident wast etched in his mind like a scar for eternity.
