By Vihaan – Grade 2
It was a pleasant and magnificent Tuesday morning . The sun was glistening like gold coin in the massive sky which was clear as a crystal.
A lad named Vihaan who was as dashing as a prince was playing with his ball on a bridge. Beside the bridge there was a river which was as deep as a well. As Vihaan was bouncing the ball which was as colourful as a pack of crayons. Suddenly the ball fell into the river. Vihaan was very upset. A notion blossomed in his mind. The ball was on the edge of the river so he tried to grab it. Unfortunately, the ball had drifted as slowly as a tortoise from the edge of the river. Vihaan stretched his little hand ahead because he was determined to grab the ball. Suddenly he lost his balance fell into the river. The water was as cold as ice. He was bobbing up and down. He shouted on top of his lings for help. Fortunately, a man was jogging beside the river and he noticed Vihaan drowning in the water. The man had a heart of gold so he called a policeman by a phone. As the policeman came, he resuced Vihaan. As time flew like a bird, Vihaan’s parents were shocked because Vihaan didn’t reach home . They went to search for Vihaan. As the parents reached the river , they were relieved to see Vihaan . Vihaan sprinted like lightning to his parents and embraced them. Their parents were grateful to the jogger and the helpful police officer . They gave Vihaan a warning. Vihaan never played beside a river again. They went home feeling as exhilarated as a lark.
