By Vidhya – Grade 6Dear Garima,
I hope this letter of mine finds you and your family jubilant and in fine fettle. I am dropping you a line to inform you about the horrible time I had at the camping trip I went for recently.
I hope this letter of mine finds you and your family jubilant and in fine fettle. I am dropping you a line to inform you about the horrible time I had at the camping trip I went for recently.
It was a scorching morning. The yellow orb illuminated the surrounding which was as hot as a furnace and was hanging up on the wall like a picture. The prodigious sky was playing hide and seek with the clouds who were as white as snow as a pulpous as a bale of cotton. The sonorous chirps of a volery of birds was music to everyone’s ears and reverberated all around. I woke up at the crack of clown as today I was going for camping. I was zealous and at the drop of a hat got ready but since I had to pack some scrumptious and lip smacking food, I missed my train. Then I had to book another train and was coaxed to pay as it was exorbitant and I had no choice. The train was cramped. I was like a little grain of sand in a humongous ocean. After coming down from the train I heaved a sigh of relief, as I met my true blue comrades and continued to amble. There was a bus which took us up to the elephantine mountain but then amidst the road there was a problem in the engine and we had to walk all the way walk up which was gruelling. It started becoming dark and I wanted to sleep but when I checked my bag, I forgot my tent. So I had to share the tent with someone else. As I went inside I slept like a log. The next day it was raining like cats and dogs and we could not climb up as it was slippery so we had to return home because our trip was only for 2 days. This was my worst camping trip. This was etched in my mind like a scar.
Convey my warm regards to your reverberated parents, grandparents and love to your adorable siblings. I hope you will make an endeavour to write to me soon.
Yours affectionately,
Vidya.
